FedEx Logistics SGC025: Coordinator, Gateway in Singapore, Singapore

• Follow up pricing enquires from overseas and ad-hoc project inquiry. • To plan, direct & facilitate consolidation via HKG gateway based on situational scenarios. • Assist in project management, business planning, service improvements & strategy development with the objective to provide progressive leadership for the workgroup, exceed service commitments & customer satisfaction, generate revenues and achieve long-term profitability. • Support Pricing desk and Gateway arrangement. • To assist the Load Planner to communicate, coordinate, monitor all airline space and warehouse activities.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set strategy at area of control, create short term & long term plans for operational needs.

  • Support Air Gateway Lead assigned tasks. Formulate, implement & review contingency plans to support overall operations & individual areas of operations.

  • Provide direction & support for resolution of pricing issues, establish & execute service contracts, review customers’ feedback & initiate improvement measures.

  • Initiate & plan long-term service enhancement projects, evaluate short-term & long-term results; assist in new operations development & initiatives in order to ensure continuous improvements at areas of control.

  • Ensures compliance with system allocation policy and process to meet sales and operational service requirements.

  • Follow handling procedures established by the management.

  • Monitor the operations performance on system and ensure the timeline fulfillment.

  • Other duties as assigned to the position.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE

Academic:

  • GCE ‘O’ Level or above.

Experience & knowledge:

  • Three (3) years relevant experience.

  • Experience in the freight forwarding industry is required.

  • Must have PC experience and ability to prepare documentation quickly and accurately.

  • Good communication skills.

Must be fluent in English and local languages
