FedEx Logistics Software Developer Advisor - .net Azure Fullstack Advisor in Hyderabad, India
The Software Developer Advisor is a .Net Technical Lead with highly experienced background as a Full Stack Developer and will be responsible for analysis, design, and leading a team for implementation of existing and new applications. The ideal candidate will be a strong technical resource with to ability to lead a team, do technical design and has ability to work closely with the business and other technical resources in a .Net/Azure environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Participate as recipient of knowledge transfer from 3rd party developed solution with goal of bringing developed solution in house.
Lead an application development team, collaborate with subject matter experts, and third-party application experts to understand the business requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
Provide technical and best practices guidance to an agile team to code, test, and maintain .Net, C#, VB.Net applications and microservices technologies in an Azure environment.
Hands on software design and development that will perform at scalable, reliable, and secured products.
Review, analyze, troubleshoot, and modify complex core and customized software.
Respond to complex, escalated customer inquiries/requests for technical/operational support.
Resolve complex technical matters to meet customer service level agreements.
Analyze and/or implement corrective action for root cause analysis/fixes or corrective action of defects.
Follow documented Software Development Life-Cycle standards.
May provide consultation on complex projects, through research and/or proof of concept.
Point of contact for higher level or complex issues and will work with senior levels for resolution.
This position is full-time and may require after hours or on-call support including, but not limited weekends and evenings.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, or Information Systems.
Minimum 10 years of overall experience primarily designing and developing .Net based applications.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing a development team to ensure on time and quality deliverable.
Knowledge of cloud native principles required, preferably using Azure.
Experience in designing schemas in Cosmos and SQL Server databases including the ability to write complex queries is required.
Experience with database tuning or data modeling would be beneficial.
Basic understanding of and willingness to learn and adopt professional and industry standards.
Results oriented, highly motivated, and technically fluent in all aspects of software design and development.
Customer service driven.
Strong collaboration skills and be a team player.
